Negombo Dutch canal, one of the main tourist attractions of Negombo – Sri Lanka’s little Rome, the Canal that flows across the busy coastal town was constructed during the Dutch colonial era to transport the spices into ships docked out at the sea.

Today after breakfast proceed to Sigiriya. Visit Negombo Fish Market and before proceeding for the Sigiriya Village tour.
Sigiriya a village in the backwoods of the dry zone, is the heart of the cultural triangle. It provides visitors the convenience of reaching all the historically significant sites with ease as well as some of the major wildlife sanctuaries in the country.

Today after breakfast visit Pindurangala.
Pindurangala Monastery, located in close proximity to the wondrous Sigiriya rock fortress, Pindurangala was once a royal temple that sheltered some 500 monks, operating under the patronage of medieval King Kashyapa – the ruler of Sigiriya.

Today after breakfast proceed to Kandy, en-route do Dambulla cave Temple, Matale spice garden and before arriving in Kandy for a tour around the city with site seeing.
Dambulla Cave temple, a complex that lies atop a massive hill on the edge of the town is one of the eight UNESCO world heritage sites in the country and is renowned for its unique sculptures and the largest mural paintings.
Spice Gardens, located in Matale offer wonderful opportunities to view the spices that stirred the interests of many nations, since time immemorial, in this emerald isle for its exotic spices, world over and get involved in Cooking Demonstration.
Kandy, referred as the hill capital, is blessed with Sri Dalada Maligawa that houses the sacred tooth relic of Buddha which remains the prime landmark. Apart from the ancient monuments, the delightful jumble of antique shops and the bustling market are places to visit.
Temple of the tooth relic of Lord Buddha, is the pride of Buddhists in Sri Lanka and world-over. The palace temple stands surrounded by a moat, its golden roof gleaming in the sunlight as white-clad pilgrims bearing lotus blossoms throng to worship.
Witness a Kandyan Dance show; Kandyan dance shows, mostly dramatic depictions of the movements of birds, animals and the costumes donned by the dancers are vibrant with colour and sounds. The performances of the Kandyan dancers are an absolute must-see in Sri Lanka.

Proceed to Haputale after breakfast today, visiting Peradeniya Botanical Garden, a Tea Plantation and a Tea Factory on the way.
Nuwara Eliya, dubbed the ‘Little England of Sri Lanka’ is located in the thick, misty hills of this paradise isle. The colonial atmosphere remains preserved, resembles a British countryside complete with rose gardens, hedges and red-roofed bungalows.
Tea of Sri Lanka, better known as Ceylon Tea has been world renowned for centuries for its quality and distinctive taste. The island’s tea production varies in taste, quality, character and appearance based on its cultivated region.
